The Door to Door posting is a great one because it makes you think deeply and also reflect your response as a believer in door to door occurrences. I had thoughts about the sovereign grace of
God by the faith in Jesus Christ to open the closed gate of sin. When I say
Sovereign Grace I mean it is available to all sinners if …. The “if” is where it gets deep. The context of previous verses in Luke 13 highlights repentance. The closed door between all sinners and God is sin. It is clear in your John 10:9 reference that faith in Christ opens the narrow door of complete forgiveness by His grace. So if seems Grace available to all but only faith in Christ clarifies the if.
As I thought about real life application of my interactions with door to door events, I have not always been Salt and Light. Your message makes it clearer to me that I would want all to come to my door to experience the grace of God. Great posting!!

Wise words from Mr. Wiseman. For those who have not met Denny, he’s been a friend and mentor to me. A man of shepherding and kind leadership.
That is interesting about a link from the garden of Eden to the Temple design. And Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane.
Great connection…something about those gardens seen interconnected
Revelation 3:20 is often used as an evangelism verse but the context is Jesus addressing a church, a body of believers, not unbelievers.
Good point Ted. The painting I shared in the post, the original artist used that verse.
