I was literally just writing about this for a passage in my book. I think people are and always have been the same. Word spread about Jesus then just as it would now. People hear rumors. If they hear them enough they start to wonder.

Good thoughts Jason. Interesting to look back through history and see how people responded - everyone is given an opportunity to respond to Christ.

finally listening and I love your voice and accent Paul! I hadn’t heard this passage in a while but it’s exactly what I’ve been going through: the “Herods” not understanding God’s ways in your life. Perplexed is the perfect word because I think the supernatural is perplexing on purpose: it’s bizarre, challenging, exciting, and scary all at the same time. And whether one wants Jesus or not, miracles make us ask questions and want to know more. So while I get tired of Herod’s questions haha and I’m sure Christ did too, it makes me smile every time said questions come face to face with faith, God’s truth, and evidence of His power. He won’t be denied!

Thanks Autumn, you’re so kind and like your perspective as well. We all run into Herod types and navigating our own questions at times.

My accent seems to come out more on the audio than in real life, not sure why but something my wife said as well. That southern accent is the result of time in South Carolina.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. Have a wonderful day.
